Border fence? How about the terrorist sympathizers already here?

WHY A FENCE ON THE BORDER WHEN WE ALREADY HAVE THE TOOLS!?

Voices in the United States, strongest in Arizona have been calling for a “fence” and “Iron Curtain” of sorts to protect the United States from illegal immigration. Such a fence is touted as a “cure” for the thousands of poor people who walk into the nation to do menial jobs, and most of them send most of the money they make, to their poor relatives in foreign countries.

History teaches us, that walls have done a poor job in keeping people “out” and generally only lock the good people “in”, while restricting trade, communications, and freedom. The Great Wall of China is one of history’s best examples of the Chinese hoping to build a wall to keep the Mongolian’s out, only to find, that Mongolia conquered China anyway, and the wall simply became a giant monument. One that can even be seen from outer space.

Some people are of the belief that instead of spending billions on a two thousand mile fence, across the desert of Texas, Arizona and California, perhaps we could simply give the agencies, already in existence, in the USA more resources, and let them do their job.

Steve Emerson in his writing: "American Jihad" has documented Islamic networks, hostile to the USA, have been reported in California, Oregon, Arizona, Missouri, Chicago, Ohio, Floriday, North Carolina, New York, Boston, Colorado, and even conservative Indiana. In Plainfield Indiana, the ISNA, and Muslim Brotherhood have been cited as friends of terrorists. In Ohio, the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic Jihad are both active.

In California, Hamas, Al Gama'at aal Islamiyya, and the Algerian Armed Islamic Group are active. In Zionsville, and Carmel, Indiana there is a large group of Iranian, and Islamic families, some who are more Iranian than American. For example, let us say, in hypothetical terms that there was an Islamic family, who immigrated to the United States, from some nation hostile to the United States. Perhaps a nation that is reported to support terrorists and military activities that are against United States interests around the world. Iran would fit this definition.

And lets say, that hypothetically, a head of a family clan, immigrates to the USA.

So "Mohammad" immigrates to the USA, bringing with him his Iranian culture and Iranian Islamic values, and starts a company. Say, he put's it in heartland America, perhaps a town like Zionsville, Indiana, or Carmel, Indiana. He uses his company to hire family members, even to hire some that might have trouble getting suitable employment elsewhere. But he learns the system, and learns how to work the American system well. The clan members are all encouraged to become U.S. Citizens, so that they can take advantage of the system. Perhaps he creates something that sounds innocent enough, like medical equipment.

What if he "hypothetically" uses his company, to get some elderly members of the family, on social security, Medicare and Medicaid. He even makes up records and his company books show that he has "hired" his mother and father, so they can look like legitimate employees. Even though they spend most of their time living in their home in Iran, he gets them qualified for social security, medicare, medicaid. Even though these elderly Iranians spend a majority of their time living in Iran. Is it abuse of the system? Yes, of course! Would a “fence” on the border solve the problem? Probably not. But Social Security and other agencies, if given the funds, and support, would be able to investigate and prosecute this as welfare fraud. So Elderly people, misusing social security or other U.S. progdrams, would be checked out. The American government might find that some of them live most of their lives in Iran, or other nations, with the U.S. dollars that U.S. generousity provides. Given the money, Social Security could investigate, and do far more than a wall.

Or what if this hypothetical "Mohammed" has brothers, and through a company, (hypothetically of course) they all have enjoyed sophisticated use of the American system, to avoid payment of full income taxes? What if they have been known to participate in the transfer, hiding or receipt of assets from family members in ways to avoid capital gains and income taxes?
