BUSH, The Biggest spender of World History

A few weeks ago I was out on a pheasant hunt, with some friends and one of them told me a funny story about a “difference in values” he had with his wife that reminded me of George Bush’s recent “budget” speech for the USA.

“I had lectured her about how we need to be tight on our spending, especially groceries, and the light bill. I told her not to buy any new clothes for the kids this Christmas, and keep the spending tight. I told her that our bank loans were too high, our credit cards were at the limit, and that we had to tighten our belts. The next day, I was at a gun show, and saw a new gun. I bought it with hardly a moment’s hesitation. When I got home and showed her my new gun, she was mad at first, and later that night she cried. I didn’t understand why she was so upset.”

He told me that it took a few weeks, before he really begin to understand the depth of her hurt and her anger.

George W. Bush just introduced a $3,100,000,000,000.00 budget. (Not $3.1 million. Not $3.1 billion. But $3.1 TRILLION DOLLARS). In his budget he increased defense spending, and cut Medicare, Medicaid and social services for Americans. One of his comments was that “We have to learn to cut spending”.

Economists tell us that it could take 30 or 40 years to pay back and absorb all of the new debt that America’s government has run up in the past 8 years. That is bad for the economy, bad for the U.S. dollar, bad for the standard of living of all Americans, and in general lowers the power and influence that the U.S.A. can have in the world.

This puts the USA at the highest deficit in American history, and is the largest budget ever suggested by an American president.

Consider this. George W. Bush, just announced the largest financial budget, and he, "G.W. " by doing so became the biggest spender, in the history of the earth. In all of the history of the earth, no man has ever empowered such spending. And when he was announcing it, he scolded the American people, telling us that we need to spend less!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Wonder if the American people will react like that mother who listened to her husband fuss about the grocery bill, while he bought his expensive new gun.

Or will we just pretend that it doesn’t impact us, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren?

I will make this prediction. After the elections, regardless of who the new President of the United States is, the American people will become furious about the state of the budget and deficits of the USA. After the elections, those who are now afraid, timid, and intimidated, will finally speak up. It will be a bit too late then, but it was too late for that housewife too!
