Rivers that have Run Dry! Global Warming.

Several factors have caused rivers, to have no water, all over the world.

Rivers running dryMany, around the world, have observed their local rivers to dry up, but with only local perspective, believe it is an isolated case. But, our family of readers provides GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES, allowing us to see, that this is a trend throughout the world!

Why? It appears that the combination of the following factors are causing dry rivers:

  1. Global warming, even the slight increase in world temperatures is causing rivers to decline.
  2. Over irrigation, farmers throughout the world are pumping more water out than the rivers produce.
  3. Declining water tables, throughout the world produce fewer "springs" to feed rivers
  4. Declining snow reserves, throughout the mountains of the world, produce less "snowmelt"
  5. Over development, by farms, and cities, has caused rivers all over the world to simply become dry river beds.

The social and economic impacts are impossible to calculate but run in the billions of dollars annually. Consider some of the major rivers that are in trouble:

AND THOUSANDS OF SMALLER RIVERS AROUND THE WORLD. IN THE COMMENT SECTION AT THE END OF THIS REPORT, WILL YOU MENTION RIVERS IN YOUR AREA THAT ARE REDUCED OR “DRY”.
