Let me give you a scenario: Say, your town has land set aside for industrial park.

You want to attract new business to the town.

We put up 4 turbines. Cost of about $4,500,000.00. These 4 turbines (2 at the industrial park, 1 at the city water treatment/sewer sites) and 1 in the city to pay the municipal building, fire dept, police department electricity. The 4 turbines will produce about $15,000 to $20,000 per month in electricity each. or $60,000 to $80,000 per month.

Annual power production or annul cost savings in electric bills: $720,000 to $960,000. Over 30 years, as electric rates increase the city will have a net positive cash flow of at least $39,000,000. You would have to raise a lot of taxes to make that much money. Now, we can help you design and write up the Revenue Bonds, to pay all of the initial cost of $4,500,000. We also already have banks that will buy the bonds. The turbines will more than cover the debt service. (1.4 to 1.6 to 1 debt coverage)

Net result. The city gets the project with no money out of pocket. Plus you may be entitled to other grants and money from the Federal government because you are now a "green city" doing something positive for the environment.

Plus you can market to new business: "Come to our industrial park, and pay only 1/2 price for electricity" or "Free electricity the first 2 years". That's it.
